Mega Hair Elite Started in the late 70′s , Stars like linda Evans In Dynasty and many more Glamorous  stars  that we loved there hair and could  not. I Remember saying “how does there hair grow so fast”.  Well its been the secret of Hollywood for years, I was fortunate enough to learn from  the inventor mentor and hair  extensioner Salvator Megna, from  Sacramento, California. My education for hair extensions and hair replacement  stared in October of 1992, Salvator myself and about 4 others from different states started the entertainers network. I opened the  the Boston salon, we had New york covered Malibu , California , Chicargo, Dayton Ohio . we were the extensioners that were taking over the Country . I performed Platform work in New Yorks Hair shows. Once Salvator retired everyone sort of went there own way, I have been doing  Hair extensions in the Boston area since 1992 . I got the interst of Vouge Magazine in 1999 they want to post in there Decemember issue of that year all about Mega Hair Elite, How ever they did not think Boston was advanced enough with technology , So they published a salon in New York and a salon in California  and the news bulletin was on sewn in extensions , so out dated !!I was ahead of my time, In Time the rest of  our team had vanished , I tried my best to get that write up with Vouge .

New York Times contacted my hair salon  year  later wanted to know about Mega hair Elite Extensions , interviewed with them  the same  situation,” Boston ,was not good enough” , Well from there I built my own great reputation I begin appearing in The ,Boston, Globe Featured as Boston Best Hair extensions , Also appeared on Chronicle , Channel 56 morning show  channel 7  , I shot a commercial 1997 it showed on cable channels  MTV Fox life Time ,  Extensions for woman,  were not as mainstream  as they are now once stars like Jennifer Lopez ,Brittany  Spears , Began wearing them , the industry changed over night , I have been  busy  7 days a week  scheduling hair extensions , My salon was the only one know for keratin  extensions. 20 yeas later we are still going strong , recently  the good day show aired that hair extensions damage your own natural hair ,  I want everyone to know this is not true if they are applied the right way , infact they help your  own natural hair grow and get healthy . I  stand by all my work and make sure that my clients know how to care for there new locks it is an investment and should be treated as one.

With the Spring and Summer months here now and everyone trying to get in beach ready body, lots of us also think it would be nice to lighten our hair up a shade or two. But how can you do this naturally? Well, here are a few tips you can do to lighten it just enough.

• Lemon: Lemon juice is a natural way to lighten your hair. Mix the juice of one lemon with 6 tbsp of water and rub it into dry hair for short hair and double it for long hair. Leave it into your hair for several hours before rinsing it out. You can repeat this process for days depending on your hair type and how light you want it.
• Swimming: Take a swim, in a pool, a fresh water lake or stream or the ocean then stay in the sun and this will lighten your hair, but the chlorine from a pool speeds up the process.
  
• Sunshine: Spending time out in the sun will lighten your hair quickly, but you can increase the speed with the lemon. After you try rinsing with lemon lying out in the sun is a very fast way to lighten your hair. Just remember to apply sunscreen.

If you want fair skin there are a few tricks you can do to achieve this, the first and most basic is always wear sun block, at least a protection of 30+. Whenever you are leaving your house put it on, you don’t realize it but your face gets a lot more sun than you may think day by day.

Now, on to some at home tips:

1. Scrub your face daily with a lemon, lemons are a great bleaching agent, just be very careful not to get it into your eyes.
2. Squeeze the juice of a potato into a bowl and apply to your face, the juice is a natural skin bleacher.
3. Mix lemon juice and honey in equal parts and apply to your face.
4. Lemon juice mixed with cucumber juice this is a good combination for making lightening oily skin.
5. For dry skin try Cucumber juice and honey mixed together.
6. Coconut water, this not only lightens but gives a flawless appearance and helps lighten scars.
7. Massage your skin with olive oil, this will lighten and soften the skin.
8. Boil cumin seeds in water and rinse your face with the same water you boiled the seeds in, this will give you radiant skin and a fairer complexion.
9. Boil radishes in water and apply this water to your face.
10. Mix 2 spoons of mint juice and half a spoon of lemon juice, this will lighten your skin and kill off the whiteheads while acting as an defoliant.

We have all seen the stars wearing French Braid Headbands, from Lauren Conrad and Sarah Michelle Geller to Jennifer Aniston and Rachel McAdams.

But how can you get that gorgeous romantic hairstyle yourself? Here we are going to tell you a few simple steps to help you achieve this beautiful look for your next day out.

1. Start with clean dry brushed hair.
2. Create a part for your hair headband using a comb and make a clean straight rectangular section and set it aside for now.
3. If you are going to put your hair in a bun or ponytail, end the braid about 2 inches above your ear.
4. If you are going to wear your hair down end the braid at your ear.
5. Put the hair that will not be used for the braided headband into a ponytail or bun so it will not get in the way while you braid the front portion of your hair.
6. Begin French Braiding the front portion of your hair. Starting at the part section off a small rectangular piece and separate it into three pieces. Cross the rightmost over the center. Then add some hair to what used to be the rightmost strand (now center) from the right side. Cross the leftmost over the center. Then add some hair to what used to be the leftmost strand (now center) from the left side.
7. Continue French Braiding till you have used all the loose hair in the braid then continue to the end making a regular braid.
8. Finish the look.
9. For a ponytail gather your hair into a ponytail, including the braid, and that’s it, and to turn it into a bun, at that point twist  the ponytail and wrap it around the base of the ponytail. Secure with elastic band and bobby pins.
10. To wear your hair down pin the braid back from your face with a bobby pin or clip.

We have all read articles about how blow drying your hair everyday may be damaging to your hair, but how are you supposed to go to work with your dripping hair? Here we will tell you the best way to blow dry your hair and leave the least amount of damage to your ends and possible even improve them.

1.  Wash your hair with moisturizing shampoo, this will give extra moisture while blow drying and if you choose to curl or straighten it as well.
2.  Towel dry your hair gently, do not rub your hair with towel, the friction will cause split ends and make your hair frizzy.
3.  Brush or comb through your hair and section it off into 4-6 sections, the larger the section the longer it will take to dry.
4.  Start blow drying from the roots down, about 6 inches away from the scalp and keep a 6 inch distance the entire time.
5.  Move down not up and keep the drying moving at all times, drying in one spot will burn your hair.
6.  Leave a little damp, this leaves some moisture in your hair so it won’t dry out and become frizzy. It should dry naturally in the next 10-15 minutes.
7.  Finish with a cold air dry to lock in the shine, brush gently and if needed apply an anti-frizz serum or for a natural option, a tiny bit of olive oil.

Your hair will be dried, smooth, shiny and gorgeous all day long!
